Smoke Alarm Testing Day

A free one-hour online session on smoke alarm testing, battery life, service dates, interconnection, and the legal duties introduced by the 2022 Smoke and CO Alarm Regulations. Practical, non-technical, and directly applicable the same evening.

Why now

November is the start of the highest-risk fire season in UK homes — heating is on, candles are lit, and people spend more time indoors. It is the ideal time to check that every alarm in the house is working, in date, and correctly positioned. Most alarm failures are discovered after a fire, not before.
